On November 19, the official delivery and public open day ceremony of "Zhanjiang Bay No.1" was held at the China Merchants Cruise Terminal! "Zhanjiang Bay No.1," the world's first floating dynamic positioning aquaculture platform, features a sonar system that serves as the core component of its comprehensive smart aquaculture monitoring network. Namin Tech's "Zhanjiang Bay No.1" sonar system is equipped with the internationally leading C750DH imaging sonar and software ecosystem, providing critical acoustic monitoring support for deep-sea smart aquaculture.

The World's First Floating Dynamic Positioning Aquaculture Platform

As the world's first floating dynamic positioning aquaculture platform, "Zhanjiang Bay No.1" integrates multiple functions including offshore semi-submersible aquaculture, autonomous navigation for typhoon avoidance, green energy supply, and intelligent control. With an overall length of 154 meters, a maximum aquaculture draft of 20 meters, and an aquaculture volume of 80,000 cubic meters, the platform can float freely across all sea areas and conduct deep-sea aquaculture, maximizing utilization of marine spatial resources and marking a major breakthrough for aquaculture moving into the deep ocean.

Real-Time Monitoring + Intelligent Recognition

 

The sonar system engineered by Namin Tech for "Zhanjiang Bay No.1" features long-range, high-precision detection capabilities, effectively solving the deep-water visualization challenge. It enables digitalized management of "environmental monitoring – precision feeding – disease early warning," laying the foundation for the "unmanned aquaculture" vision of Zhanjiang Bay No.1.

Stock Monitoring: Real-time location of fish school distribution and density, tracking of movement trajectories, and assessment of feeding states and health conditions.

Growth Environment Monitoring: Detection of water temperature and stratified distribution of water quality parameters (e.g., dissolved oxygen), identification of underwater obstacles, net cage damage, or leakage hazards.

Aquaculture Management Support: Assisting feeding decisions (adjusting feed quantity based on fish density), estimating aquaculture yield, and preventing invasive species intrusion or disease transmission.

 

Interference-Free Multi-Sonar Synchronous Operation

The "Zhanjiang Bay No.1" sonar system employs a network-broadcast time-division synchronization strategy, enabling 10+ sonar units to operate simultaneously without mutual interference, with smooth, flicker-free imagery. This capability is exclusive to Namin Tech sonar systems.
